Week 4 of the 2026-27 NFL season concludes with an NFC South matchup between the Atlanta Falcons (1-2) and New Orleans Saints (1-2) at the Caesars Superdome on Monday Night Football. Carolina already earned a win over Detroit on Sunday Night Football to improve to 2-2, so Monday night’s winner will join the Panthers atop the division while the loser will drop to 1-3.
The Falcons started the season with back-to-back losses and poor quarterback play, resulting in underwhelming offensive performances. However, third-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr. made his return in a Week 3 matchup against Green Bay at Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football after suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 11 last year, and Atlanta’s offense looked completely different with him under center in its 35-14 win.
Penix completed 18 of 25 passes for 256 yards and a touchdown in his return. He did throw an interception on the first drive of the game against Green Bay, but as his numbers suggest, he bounced back and posted a 101.4 passer rating in the win.
Falcons wide receiver Drake London was happy to see his quarterback back on the field, as he recorded 194 receiving yards. All-Pro running back Bijan Robinson also put together a dominant performance, rushing for 194 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 6.7 yards per carry.
The Saints were on the wrong end of a Week 1 overtime thriller against Detroit, losing 31-30, but responded with a 24-17 road win over Baltimore in Week 2 before dropping another thrilling game in Week 3 with a 35-27 loss to Las Vegas. Second-year quarterback Tyler Shough and Second-Team All-Pro wide receiver Chris Olave have been bright spots for New Orleans so far this season, but the Saints must do a better job of protecting the football after turning the ball over four times in the fourth quarter last week.

Best Player Prop Bets and Predictions for Falcons vs. Saints
There are plenty of ways to get in on the football betting action at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook, including the extensive selection of player prop markets available. Below, we used the Stats Hub to pick out three of the best player prop bets for Falcons vs. Saints on Monday Night Football:
Chris Olave Over 87.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Chris Olave has been one of the top wide receivers in the NFL since the Saints drafted him 11th overall in 2022. Injuries have been an issue throughout his career, limiting his overall production, but he seems to have developed quite the chemistry with Tyler Shough in just their second year playing together.
Shough didn’t really play meaningful snaps until Week 8 last season, but he was a major reason Olave posted career highs in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in 2025. The duo is off to a great start in 2026, as Olave leads the team with 27 catches, 36 targets, and 375 receiving yards heading into Week 4.
The Stats Hub notes that Olave has recorded 85 or more receiving yards in each of his last six appearances and now faces an Atlanta defense that ranks near the bottom of the league, allowing 263 net passing yards per game.
- Chris Olave Over 87.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Juwan Johnson Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
The Falcons have been allowing too many passing and receiving yards so far this season, making it difficult to pick just one Saints receiver to find success Monday night. Veteran tight end Juwan Johnson is another player who had a career year in 2025, setting new single-season highs with 77 receptions, 102 targets, and 889 receiving yards.
While Johnson isn’t seeing quite the same number of targets as Olave so far this season, he’s still one of Shough’s go-to options. Johnson is third on the team with 19 targets and tied for second with 15 receptions, while his 173 receiving yards rank second behind Olave and his three touchdown catches are tied for the team lead with fellow tight end Noah Fant.
Johnson’s receiving yards line is set at 44.5 for Monday night’s matchup, but the Stats Hub notes that he has recorded 53 or more receiving yards in each of the Saints’ last six games, making it more than reasonable to think he can reach at least 45 yards, especially given his production last year and so far this season.
- Juwan Johnson Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Drake London Over 81.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Continuing the theme of receiving yards, our final pick among the best player props for Falcons vs. Saints focuses on Atlanta wide receiver Drake London. London had a quiet start to the new season amid subpar quarterback play in Weeks 1 and 2, but it’s safe to say he was more than happy to have Michael Penix Jr. throwing him the ball again.
London caught nine passes on 10 targets for 194 yards in the Falcons’ Week 3 win over Green Bay with Penix back under center, continuing a trend of stellar performances when the duo is on the field together. The Stats Hub notes that London has recorded 104 or more receiving yards in each of his last four appearances with Penix as the starting quarterback.
While the Saints do feature a solid defense, New Orleans allowed 116 receiving yards to Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers in Week 3, 88 receiving yards to Baltimore wide receiver Rashod Bateman in Week 2, and 206 total receiving yards to Detroit in Week 1.
- Drake London Over 81.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
